Summer Busyness

I've been meaning to post in here for a while, but we have been busy! Nothing too exciting going on, just keeping busy. I have been working out 3-4 days a week and Maxx has now taken two of three art classes at the school 3 days a week. (which he LOVES and he has such a natural talent for) Then we are just trying to keep up with the playgroup and playdates and hang out with friends.

We took a friend's suggestion and went up to Mueller State Park two weekends in a row, because we loved it so much! Turns out that dogs are NOT allowed so our first trip was kind of a bust, so we went back the next weekend without Mattie. We caught up with a guided trail walk with a naturalist which was fun, but way too long for the kids. It turned out to be two and a half miles! We were ALL exhausted at the end of it! Max and I for having to carry Mason and/or Miles off and on and Maxx because we made him walk the entire way. It was neat to learn things though, and of course the scenery was amazing. We LOVE the Colorado Rocky Mountains! We will try to rent a cabin there next summer, it would be so much fun!
