Our Little WORLD CHAMP!!!!

FINALLY, posting in my blog. ;)

The picture says it all! Well almost! He got FIRST place in ALL THREE categories he competed in!! (they are called the 3-3-3, 3-6-3 and Cycle) What this picture doesn't show is that he BROKE THE WORLD RECORDS in ALL THREE categories as well!!!! He killed the records, really! We did an interview with The Denver Post and his story was in the paper on Monday!!

HERE is a link to the article they did.

HERE is a link to a slideshow of the event... mostly with Miles and the "allstar" stacker, Steven Purugganan. Woo hoo! Oh and the picture of the button is mine. ;)

He was treated like a celebrity on Sunday among the public.... people wanted pictures with him, pictures of him, they were videoing him etc. It was great! I really thought that he'd crack under the pressure but he really thrived under the pressure. When he was just warming up when we first got there, he gathered quite a crowd and I thought it would make him nervous, but he actually stacked way faster. (and broke his personal record with a time of 11.20 on the cycle!) He was faster than some 5 and 6 year olds (we noticed he broke world records for those age groups as well, but it doesn't officially count).

A few random people commented on how he will be faster than the current overall record holder someday, Steven Purugganan!

Max did a phone interview on a radio station in Phoenix on Tuesday!! Click the link to see him on their site and hear the interview... who knows if it will always be up on their site or not?

THEN we got a call from the Jay Leno show on Monday but after speaking to Miles, they decided that he was too young for their show. Everyone has been telling me to contact the ELLEN DEGENERES show, and I didn't have to, because THEY CALLED US!!! After speaking with the rep from her show a few times, she told me that she wants to try to get them to run the show and will pass the story on to the producers. She will keep me posted and asked me to not tell any other media that we are talking to them!!!! I really hope it works out that we can go on her show! But don't want to jinx it either. I guess we'll see!

Anyways, here are his records, compared to the previous world records for his age in each category!
