No more nice mommy
Okay so I have been posting a lot lately, but isn't that kinda what I wanted to do? ;) - I am PMSing or stressing about MIL's visit and/or taking Miles to the Stacking Cup World Championships or something because "nice mommy" is GONE today. I know that I created the mess I am in with the boys... not to say that they are BAD kids, but there is always room for improvement. Like the food situation (cooking 2+ meals every night to accommodate them as picky eaters) or how I RARELY make them clean up after themselves. Stuff like that. WELL, Maxx and Mason were especially good this morning while I tackled ALL four bathrooms so I told Maxx that after we picked Miles up, we could get some food too... I let him pick and everything. He chose Chick Fil-A. Miles said he ate ALL of his lunch at school and that he wasn't hungry but when I asked him if he wanted some fruit at least, he said yes. But NO fries or chicken. Okay, no biggie, saves us money! SO, we get home and Miles DEMANDS to have ALL of my food. (I got an 8 piece nugget meal so that I could share some of it and the fries with Mason, not even what I WANTED to eat btw!) so I just lost it and just gave it to him! I went to the other room and bawled. Pretty soon the kids were running back and fourth checking on me and giggling and running away. So I collected myself in the bathroom and when I came out I calmly (surprise, surprise!) told them that they would not be leaving the table until they finished ALL of their food. AND I made them! So Miles ate TWO lunches, and that includes some fruit and EIGHT chicken nuggets. Maxx said that he felt sick and I made him finish his sandwich. SO, yeah, NO MORE NICE MOMMY today. I am DONE. I have to too much to get done and not enough time. Maybe that makes me a bad mom for not managing my time better and not having any time to spend QUALITY time with the kids, but OH WELL. I am not supermom and have never claimed to be! What I need is a BIG 'OL GLASS O' VINO right now!
