Maxx is learning about the Solar System at school. He had to a space project... so we did a model of the solar system (a kit we bought, woo hoo!) and put it in a box covered with black construction paper. It turned out really good and Maxx is SO proud of it! I will include a picture of it whenever we get it back from his teacher. - BUT below is a copy of what he wrote to go with his project but later changed his mind. He wrote the whole thing ON HIS OWN and it is just too damn cute to get lost in our endless papers from the kids' schools. So here it goes...
The Solar System
Let's tolk about Mercury. It is broun on my model. It is closest to the sun. If you thinck it is the hotest planit, you are wong. Venis us the hotest planet. If you could cut Mercury in haf the frunt haf is the hotest prt of the solar system. The other haf is as cold as Pluto. On the front of Mercury is as hot as standing 98,000 miles into the center of the earth.
He spouts out all sorts of interesting facts about the Solar System and space. Its just so cute. I can't believe how much he has grown up already!
