Well we picked up Mattie on Feb. 15th in the sanctuary in Yoder. She has been such a great girl!! No accidents in the house, sweet with the boys, obedient, follows Max or I everywhere and sleeps in our room at night. She is fantastic in the car and loves going with us wherever we go.. or can take her! She is getting increasingly more energetic but for the most part she acts like a rug LOL. She will plop down on the floor in whatever room I am in and sleep, or try to amongst the chaos. Of course when we're eating, she begs but is not too bad about it. We haven't been able to give her bath because she was spayed on the Monday before we picked her up. We have to wait two weeks from that date. So she is a stinky girl! I think she may be afraid of baths or bathrooms, because she has yet to go into one in our house. I tried to coax her last night and she ran the other way and stayed away. Poor girl. I hope she doesn't give us too much trouble because she WILL be taking baths in this house! - Another great thing is we've been able to take her out front without a leash! She explores a little but comes when I call her. What a great girl we have and we are so lucky to have found her! I can't believe such a great dog was out there for a year! So sad!
