2011???

I recall a 2010 Resolution of mine being that I would POST MORE in my blog. Well, as you can see, I only posted a few times! SO once again, for the year 2011, it is one of my resolutions again... I want to post more in my blog!

Where should I start from where I left off last time? I don't know, really. We still have the hectic, chaotic life that we always do. Between Maxx and Miles playing soccer and Max coaching BOTH teams, ontop of sport stacking and school and other activities? Um yeah, it's insane. AND Mason isn't really IN any activity right now. He refuses. At least he loves pre-kindergarten!

We took an amazing Southern California vacation over the boys' Christmas Break. We'd rather create memories of a lifetime, rather than sit and sulk at home for Christmas without any family around. I am so happy we've done this two years in a row now. To top it off, we got to meet up and spend 2/3 of our vacation with Amber, Westley and Taye! It was SO great to see them and we all had SO much fun. I feel like finding friends like that only comes along a handful of times in a lifetime and we are so lucky to have such great friends. The whole family... From the daddies, to us mamas ;) and even all of the boys are best buds. It's sad that they are in a different state, but I just know we'll remain friends for a lifetime, no matter where we all live.

Seeing them however, made me a little sad for the boys. They NEED good friends like that HERE and NOW and consistently. It was such a JOY to see them with Westley and Taye. And I need at least one good bestie here too. Still waiting and looking out for her somewhere out there.... ;)

What will 2011 bring for us? Well I am thrilled to be where we are today. Life is never easy for anyone and some are less fortunate than others AND the worst things DO happen to the best of people. Considering all of that, WE ARE SO INCREDIBLY BLESSED. THAT is how I feel this New Year. What does our future hold? I have no idea.

As always, Max's job is on it's roller-coaster ride. We may find ourselves in another city or state, or even country in 2011. No matter what though, I KNOW that Home Is Where You Make It, and with an amazing family like we have, that will not be a problem at all!

2011 WILL bring Max and I's TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY. I cannot fathom how blessed I have been to be his wife for ten years. Our love HAS changed over the years but it has grown to depths that I never knew imaginable.

More about our vacation at another time, it just doesn't fit into the mood of THIS blog... which is how GRATEFUL and BLESSED I feel in this new year in our lives. NOT taking it for granted!
