Infrequent Blogger... Again!

Boy has life been crazy, but good! Let's see if I can recap.

My 30th birthday party was fun... and I feel I have sewed my wild oats, for a while. ;) Two of my great high school friends from Denver made the trip down for dinner and that made me feel extra special. Then 6 of 13 of us had a good ol' time cutting the rug up in Downtown Colorado Springs. Good times!

Max got back from his two week trip to Germany on Nov. 15. It was so great to have him home. And it has been great having him work from home as well! Of course it takes some adjusting to having him home, I won't lie! (ie more dirty dishes and interruptions where the boys get upset that daddy can't keep playing with them and the fact that we haven't had ANY monetary benefits from this new job yet if ykwim! which means NO Christmas shopping or xmas tree yet and many unpaid bills ugh) But ideally, this is the PERFECT life. Having him home has been great for us ALL. We are SO lucky!

Maxx: Is having a little harder time in second grade. It's more work than play, more than in first grade anyways. It seems that first grade was more play and fun and second grade is more serious. This does NOT reflect in his grades, however. All A's and one B on his last report card and ALL A's on his midquarter report!!! We just got done doing his current project about Army Ants. Lucky he shares my enthusiasm for creativity and loved doing it. Then he just made me a card that said "From Maxx, To Mom. A+ Good Job! At everything! I love you!!" I cried! He is SO sweet, most of the time. ;)

Miles: He is still not liking preschool so much but I think I would have a problem with it too with so many days off (scheduled days and snow days). He is getting back into Sport Stacking, so here's to hoping he'll "go all the way" and practice and enter the 2009 Championships!! I am SO excited, but will not pressure him! He will be **FIVE** on FRIDAY! **SNIFF** I simply CANNOT believe he is that old already! *sigh*

Mason: Oh boy has he been a handful lately! Typical Seminario 2 1/2 year old for sure! He is very stubborn. But despite that he is a total mama's boy and is SO sweet sometimes. He is talking more and more and is undoubtably the CUTEST little Seminario yet. (maybe just because he is the youngest and we know he is the last?)

Overall, I am STILL so incredibly thankful for all that I have. I will admit that I get caught up in the material things from time to time, but deep down I *know* how lucky I am. I have the best friends I have had in many years, the BEST husband and best friend a girl could ever hope for and the best family that we are creating together! Cheesy I know, but it would be straight up STUPID of me to not acknowledge those facts. Happy Holidays!!!!
