Speed Stacks

Speed Stacks are the latest craze in our household! The boys first saw a boy speed stacking cups on Yo Gabba Gabba on the Noggin Channel. I had bought them some for Christmas but when we got the boys in for dentist appointments in mid-December (because Miles had hit his front tooth on Mason's head and it was super sore) and since Miles did SO good and actually let them x-ray him and clean his teeth, I promised to give them the cups when we got home as a reward. (we were SO proud of Miles and this was a big step for him given his tooth having to be extracted back in the Summer of 2006!) Now we have 4 sets of Speed Stacks cups and we love competing against each other. Miles is the most into it and does VERY well for a four year old! He has been spending part of his days watching the sport (yes it's a real sport, click HERE to check it out!) on You Tube and learning new techniques. I will have to take a video of him and post it soon! ;)

Our Record Times:
Daddy : 20 seconds
Mommy : 25 seconds
Miles : 36 seconds
Maxx : Somewhere around 40 seconds (he gets very frustrated that Miles is faster than him!)

According to the WSSA, the World Record is 7.23 seconds.
