The day I had to send my baby Miles to preschool! He was SO ready to go! We promised him that once he started wearing underwear full time (more like a bribe!) that he could go to school and be a big boy like Maxx. So, today - Halloween 2007! - was his first day. He was so excited that he woke up at 5:00am this morning! And he did GREAT there today! It didn't even phase him that we were leaving him... he just said a short "bye!" and went about playing with the boys, mainly his friend Dalton (who was/is on his soccer team) they are great buddies! I am sure having him there helped him feel comfortable too. Today was MUCH more difficult for Max and I, I am sure! He will normally go M/W/F each week, but we are sending him tomorrow (a Thursday) as well since I am going to Florida to visit my girlfriends. He is so excited about going again tomorrow! I hope come next Tuesday he doesn't think that he goes everyday, because he won't be going that day LOL.
I just can't BELIEVE how BIG he is already. WHERE does the time go? Today was such a bittersweet day. It's wonderful to watch the boys grow, but what happened to all my little babies? I couldn't help but think of Angel Nathan today as well. I think of him EVERY day (probably multiple times a day!) and he reminds me how thankful I should be for all that we have a truly blessed family.
I posted a little slideshow of Miles on his first day of school! I also snuck in a picture of him with his first soccer trophy at the end. He is TOO cute for words! He's going to be a heart-breaker someday!
